Recently, Nikon introduced a new product that is Nikon D5100 Digital SLR Camera.Nikon has just unveils their latest Digital SLR Camera which it designed to those who ready to artistically express themselves and need a versatile camera that can keep pace creatively. Called the D5100, the camera sports 16.2 Megapixel DX format DSLR offers ISO range of 100-6400, 11-point AF system, full manual controls (P,S,A,M on the mode dial) and NEF (RAW) recording. The D5100 incorporating EXPEED 2 image processing engine, thus allowing you to capture Full HD 1080p video at 24 or 30fps with full-time auto focus and manual exposure control.
The camera also includes in-camera Special Effects Mode, high dynamic range (HDR) function, Scene Recognition System, Active D-lighting feature that helps to keep shadows and highlights consistent for even exposures, and Picture Control system that offers users the choice for Standard, Neutral, Vivid, Monochrome, Portrait, or Landscape settings to apply a personal look and feel to their pictures.
The D5100 also will come with a 3-inch Vari-angle LCD screen with the ability to rotate 180 degrees horizontally and vertically. Available in April, the DSLR will be priced at $799.95 for the body only, and $899.95 for the body and lens outfit that includes the AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens. Nikon will also release the new ME-1 stereo microphone that attaches to the hot shoe and has noise dampening components designed to minimize noise resulting from AF operation, where it will cost for about $179.95.
